Lydgate & other beaches nearby

Beaches at and north of the Kauai Shores Hotel are very rugged and good for walks and laying out, not really good for swimming and snorkeling. If you go south for about a mile on the bike/walk path you will reach Lydgate Beach Park. Here you can swim or snokel at a really pretty beach. thirsty? hike up to Mamahunes.
